BE CAREFUL, 2019
Series of videos 05:23/ 03:10 min
Be Careful is a series of short video works, which resonate with the book “We’ve Had a Hundred Years of Psychotherapy – And the World’s Getting Worse” by James Hillman. The artist demonstrates how to take care of and modify the urban space, in which we operate every day.
Li Chaolin grew up in a tiny town in the south of China, and this experience affected her intuitive sense and bright thoughts on art, especially the art of the everyday life view. She graduated from the DNSEP Art programme at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art d’Annecy Alpes in 2020. She currently lives in “Social Distancing”. Her work focuses on a multitude of artistic practices. They are part of everyday reality, often questioning the artist’s role, identity, ways of collaborating, and their physical or invisible investment in the artistic process.
